Memorial to the Frontier wars

The Davis family lived here to the south east of the old School of Arts hall, Terry Eggmolesse recalls the house in the 1940s.

Just outside the south east corner boundary, of the School of Arts block of land, was a small home. During the war years my Uncle Sid Davis (son of Fred Davis), and Aunty Pauline (nee Chilly) lived there with their three young sons, at the time, Herby, Tony & Victor.”
